ABSTRACT
The concept of sustainable development is central to the research of several authors in modern times and in the politics of the European Union (EU). One of the main points in the concept is the conservation of the available resources in nature, because of which is the goal of limiting the use of conventional resources and the development of unconventional ones. The aim of the report is to trace and link the concept of sustainable development with the evolution of photovoltaic technologies as an unconventional source of energy, focusing on their application in the European Union (EU). In conclusion, the negative aspects of the use of photovoltaics are derived.

ABSTRACT
In order to invest in suitable funds, it is necessary to evaluate and compare the activities of different investment funds whose units are traded on the different stock exchanges. In order to achieve a better result, it is useful to evaluate and compare several similar countries located in a similar geographical, demographic, social and economic space. Therefore, investment funds operating in the Baltic States were selected for the study, selecting funds that prevail on the stock exchanges of the Baltic States (stock funds, bond funds, funds of funds). The purpose of the study is to analyze the effectiveness and riskiness of the most common investment funds in the Baltic countries, in order to provide a potential investor with the reasonable information about investment
opportunities in the Baltic stock exchanges. To achieve the goal, a systematic and comparative analysis of scientific literature, analysis and synthesis of statistical data, summarization, calculation, evaluation, comparison of performance indicators of investment funds are emphasized.

ABSTRACT
In the modern business environment, socially responsible business becomes a significant business management tool that allows strengthening the company's competitiveness, so more and more business companies include aspects of social responsibility in their activities. The article analyzes the ways and possibilities of assessing the investment attractiveness of socially responsible companies. The research problem is the inclusion of the social responsibility assessment of companies in the assessment of their investment attractiveness. The purpose of the study is to theoretically substantiate the peculiarities of the assessment of the investment attractiveness of socially responsible companies.

ABSTRACT
Time-of-Flight (ToF) cameras represent 3D imaging sensors capable of providing both depth and amplitude images at a high frame rate. The rapid evolution of this technology in recent years has been noteworthy. However, the effectiveness of ToF cameras is contingent upon imaging conditions and external factors,
rendering the captured data susceptible to inaccuracies. This study delves into the impact of color and distance on the depth accuracy of ToF cameras. Our experiments unveiled the diverse effects of color and distance on the depth inaccuracies inherent in ToF cameras. Nevertheless, due to the varied nature of these faults, a unified description is unattainable. Addressing these inaccuracies necessitates a robust foundation of experimental data, which is the primary objective of this research. The findings will serve as a crucial resource for future algorithms aimed at rectifying these anomalies.

EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF SURFACE CONTAMINATION ON POWER OUTPUT IN PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS

EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF SURFACE CONTAMINATION ON POWER OUTPUT IN PHOTOVOLTAIC PANELS

ABSTRACT
It is known that as the demand for energy increases, fossil resources are decreasing day by day and current electricity prices are increasing. For this reason, renewable energy installations are gaining importance day by day. On the other hand, interest in electricity generation from wind and solar, among renewable energies, is also increasing. However, the fact that solar radiation does not remain constant during the day and that the
intensity of solar radiation varies according to seasons negatively affects electricity production. To benefit from solar energy with maximum efficiency, operating conditions in photovoltaic panel conversion systems must be correct. An important reason for the decrease in conversion efficiency in solar panels is the effect of dust and pollution on the surfaces of photovoltaic cells. In this study, The effect of photovoltaic panel cell surface pollution on electricity production was examined experimentally in a solar energy conversion system established on the campus of Trakya University Faculty of Engineering. After the installation was completed, only one of the photovoltaic panels was cleaned regularly with glass cleaner every Monday. Data was received and recorded through the system for 3 months. Based on the results of the study, it was observed that the photovoltaic panel that was cleaned only once a week produced approximately 4% more electrical energy after 3 months than the one that was not cleaned.
