ABSTRACT
This paper aims to highlight several key advantages of using Chat GPT as a personal digital assistant for foreign language learners. It views Chat GPT as a powerful AI tool that enhances learner-computer interaction and self-teaching. Examples taken directly from Chat GPT chat windows are provided to support the claims presented in the paper. The focus is solely on the context of foreign language learning, deliberately avoiding any commentary on whether Chat GPT is beneficial or detrimental in other areas.
